The School of Social Work Emergency fund provides students with flexible funds to ensure a financial setback does not mean the end of their academic goals. School of Social Work students struggle with a wide variety of challenges, for example food insecurity; obtaining access to affordable, nutritious food most days of the week. In addition to food insecurity, our students have addressed ongoing challenges they’ve experienced during their time at PSU, including on-boarding field fees, houselessness, unemployment, car and home theft, mental health struggles, hospitalizations, and loss of child care and scholarship support. You can help us to provide resources for students experiencing hardship by making a gift to the School of Social Work Student Emergency Fund. Thank you!
